About Playing Baccarat. How does it work?
Like Roulette, Baccarat is a game of luck. You are given the choice of betting on the banker winning, the player winning, or a tie between the two. Two cards are dealt to each the player and the banker. If you make a winning bet, you win even money. That means you win the same amount you bet. If you bet on a tie and win, you're paid 8 to 1. So your money is returned to you, plus you get 8x that much. Calculations show the odds of winning when betting on the house are 44.62%, losing 45.85%, and 9.53% to tie. So betting on the house every time looks like a winner. Not so fast. To even out the odds the house charges a commission, usually 5%. Start Winning Cash Today playing the amaizing Baccarat! Even so, you are still better off betting on the house. That is if the commission is 5%. If it is more than 5% you should bet on the player. Or better yet, find a place with a lower commission. A bet made for a tie, although the odds of 8 to 1 may sound tempting, it is one of the worst bets in the entire casino, so don't bet on ties. With your two-card hand you want to have total that is as close as possible to 9. Tens and face cards count as zero, the ace counts as 1. Cards 2 thru 9 are worth their face value. When your initial card total has two digits, the first digit is dropped. If the first two cards total 8 or 9 the hand is a 'natural' and wins. If the total is not a natural win for either party, another card is drawn by both. A tie needs no further explanation. The moral of the story? Make sure the percentage of commission charged by the house is 5% or less, and bet on the bank. | ||
